01-23-09 Free Money Making NBA Picks
Yesterday
2-0 (plus 2-0 in tennis for a combined 4-0 day)
I’m going to write a letter to David Stern to suggest that NBA should save their operating cost, don’t even play the games anymore, cuz he can just leave it up to me to tell him who’s going to win every night. Please…the books have got to be shaking in their panties. This will be the last post for the weekend as I’ll be out of town

Today’s Picks
keep in mind that one of the crucial factors for these selections is recent trends, if you go back to Suns games ATS, you’ll see they have not been covering as of late, so you may want to take it with a grain of salt, I can predict winners for Stern, but games don’t always follow trends. In fact, Suns are 1-8-1 in last 10 games ATS, that’s not to say they’re a terrible team, but Vegas has been overvaluing them that’s for damn sure. But we’ve caught onto that at MMR for the most part the last couple weeks and been riding on that Don’t Pass line on Suns.

San Fran/Clara under 130, take it all the way down to 127.5, if you’re a degenerate and action fiend, take the under first half on that game as well

Good run, RainMaker. Let’s keep it going.
I personally don’t know if ATS trends are relevant — what do they measure, really? — but at this point, I refuse to rely on my big stupid brain when I lay down sports bets. Let it ride.
I feel the same way Debbie, that’s why I flip my lucky coin to pick these games. lets get ‘em again
I agree. I use my lucky hat to pull winners. I call it the hat trick strategy.
I let my racket do the talking. Stepanek (good value) …. Simon (close to lock)
What’s the line on Bosnia vs Serbia down under?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Kjyc-sZnS0
say no more JC, i’m on it, make it rain JC
Some good tennis picks:
Simon, Stepanek, Gonzalez.
Keep it going Rainmaker!
If stepanek loses i will go to http://www.bosworthtennis.com order a customized radek stepanek racquet and then proceed to smash it over a printed out picture of his face! go radek!
Bobcats are doing WORK.
Can’t bring myself to play the Clips tonight, though. Just can’t do it.
to be honest i took OKC tonight myself, i just post teams that should cover on paper, but OKC’s been on a ATS roll, i’m staying with them
Thought that Wolves/Hornets pick-em line was fishy. It might be time to reassess Minny. West’s absence definitely helped them dominate the paint tonight, but they’ve been hot in January.
you want to know what’ funny, Minny was suppose to be the only 5 unit play today, but it didn’t look right in my mind, so i fudged the data to lower Minny’s value, maybe the spreadsheet knows something I don’t
SImon looking good JC!
Simon… solid. Stepanek… was 3-0 vs Verdasco but Verdasco has been playing well, just a good line, had to take it. I put in Blake last minute as i was in the locker room and spoke to him…he said he was feeling it this tourney.
DAMN you Rain. Don’t fudge the data. Human error messes crap up. I stayed away from the Hornies game b/c the line looked funny to me plus Minn with McHale on the bench is just a different animal. Just like the Suns are a different animal with Porter on the bench.
Like I said, I didn’t like that Cavs play either. That Char game was solid. I wish I didn’t take OKC. I had it as the final leg of a 4 team parlay. Cost me about a G.
I’ll have some more ncaab plays for you soon. SF and Clara were looking to moose that under in the 2H but it still held.
